What is EFT used for?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a technique rather than a therapy that can be used to reduce the charge on the emotions that you are feeling. It is a great way of lowering intensity of emotions such as anxiety, cravings, anger, hurt and to help those memories that cause you stress or to cringe.

What is involved in doing EFT?

EFT has been described as being like acupuncture for emotions where instead of needles, parts of the face and upper body are tapped by your fingers. You tap on yourself and the therapist will tap on themself at the same time to show you what to do.

Can I do EFT by myself?

After teaching you a basic recipe, we encourage you to do some EFT at home between sessions and even on an ongoing basis. That way you can maximise its effects
